Can summer and intersession classes fulfill general education requirements?

Yes. General Education designations are listed in the schedule of classes in MySSU.

Open university students can review class General Education designations in the SSU catalog. Using the Catalog Search, please select courses, and then search for the class's catalog number (e.g. BUS 491).

Please note, General Education requirements and designations can change. We strongly suggest you consult your ARR or an advisor to confirm the best course(s) for you to take to satisfy your GE requirements.
